Amid all of the news debris caused by the Stormy Daniels hurricane, op-ed columnist Michelle Goldberg has an interesting view in this Tuesday’s NYT. She writes that the 60 Minutes interview with Daniels was important because it portends danger for Trump and his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. Goldberg argues this is a corruption scandal disguised as a sex scandal (physical threats, intimidation, hush money payments, etc.).
Whether this is true or not, you may want to consider whether the interview will prove important because of its potential for changing the minds of some of Trump’s voters come November. Remember, among white women who voted in 2016, about 52% voted Trump.
