The Attorney General said for the first time about the Mueller report that he disagreed with the special counsel’s assessment that he couldn’t reach a decision on obstruction and he also disagreed with the “legal analysis.”

Barr was also asked about his use of the term “spying.”
You have testified that you believe spying occurred in the Trump campaign… you’ve gotten some criticism for using that word.
“I guess it has become a dirty word somehow… I think there is nothing wrong with spying, the question is always whether it is authorized by law” -Barr pic.twitter.com/GeZ2NQQvhU

After hearing some of what Barr said, Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI) reacted saying, “he’s acting as Attorney General for the president.” “I think he did a total disservice to our country.”
