Like the rest of us, legendary musician Mick Jagger got a little stir crazy during lockdown. His new song – a collaboration with The Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl – muses on life during quarantine (watch above).
In “Eazy Sleazy,” the Rolling Stones frontman takes on Zoom, TikTok, virtual events, and “looking at the graphs with a magnifying glass.”
He pokes fun at conspiracy theorists, singing “Shooting the vaccine/Bill Gates is in my bloodstream/It’s mind control.” He adds “There’s aliens in the deep state.”
Jagger told Rolling Stone magazine, “there seems to be, now, a light at the end of the tunnel in a lot of countries. I could see that light, so I thought I’d write a song about all the things that you’ve experienced in lockdown and now hopefully this is going to be the beginning of a bit more freedom.”
It’s hard to put into words what recording this song with Sir @MickJagger means to me. It’s beyond a dream come true. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any crazier……and it’s the song of the summer, without a doubt!! https://t.co/hudEh7LCN2 https://t.co/irNkf9zgbq
