Donald Trump went to pay his respects to Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the steps of the Supreme Court. The visit itself left people feeling angry. The president didn’t even wait until the beloved justice was buried to start talking about her replacement, and he accused her granddaughter of lying about her last wish. The hypocrisy of his visit wasn’t lost on the mourners gathered outside the Supreme Court, many of whom booed Trump and chanted “vote him out.” He clearly heard this and left around one minute (maybe less) after arriving. AXIOS pointed out, “It marks a rare occasion where Trump has been forced to publicly face a hostile crowd.”
