It looks like Donald Trump may try to side-step an interview on the Russia investigation. The reason? It seems he already has his mind up saying “there is collusion, but it’s really with the Democrats and the Russians. Far more than it’s with the Republicans and the Russians.”

This was just one of the statements he made during a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg. When the president was asked whether he would be doing an interview with Mueller’s team he said, “…when they have no collision, and nobody’s found any collusion at any level, it seems unlikely that you’d even have an interview.” There have been reports that Mueller is looking to meet with Trump in the next month. The big question is will Trump turn down a request for an interview. If he does, a subpoena could be in his future.
