Donald Trump finally responds to a question about whether he knew about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels. His response was just one word “no,” but Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti says that answer “is a gift from the heavens” and that “he finally cracked.”
Avenatti says he hopes this helps a judge allow him to depose the President. He also says with that one word Trump may have gotten his attorney in a whole lot of trouble, “He’s effectively thrown Michael Cohen under the bus at least from an ethics’ standpoint with the state bar of New York.” Avenatti says “if Michael Cohen is ultimately in a position where he cannot withstand the pressure that has been placed upon him and he cracks and rolls on the President very very bad things can happen… there could be very serious consequences.”
He also touches on how all this may play into the Robert Mueller investigation.
