We haven’t heard much reaction from Republicans since it was reported Donald Trump directed the White House counsel back in June to fire Robert Mueller. But today, one of the top Republicans in the Senate finally spoke out.
Senator Lindsey Graham, a sometimes friend, sometimes foe to Trump made it clear today that IF the President did set the wheels in motion to fire Mueller, then Trump crossed a red line. Graham said on ABC News “This Week”, “We know that he did not fire Mr. Mueller. We know if he tried to, it would be the end of his presidency. at the end of the day, let Mr. Mueller do his job.”
