To see Sean Hannity in a bit of a bind is interesting. The sometimes entertainer/talk show host also occasionally claims to be a journalist, when it’s convenient. Last night his role was that of a bit player in the Trump drama as he tried to defend his relationship with Michael Cohen. But was he just being defensive? Even Donald Trump confidant Alan Dershowitz questioned why Hannity hasn’t disclosed that he had sought legal advice from Cohen before.

Along those same lines today CNN is asking does “Sean Hannity have to abide by journalistic standards?” See what media analyst Brian Stelter said above.
There is no question Hannity has talked about Michael Cohen plenty of times on his show, Mother Jones compiled some of the clips.
Fox News star Sean Hannity was just revealed to be a secret client of Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen. Here are basically all the times Hannity has defended Cohen on his show since the FBI raid last week. https://t.co/XFdnAQ965T pic.twitter.com/tWuMagPtqv

How will Hannity handle stories involving Michael Cohen from now on? Will Fox punish their biggest remaining star? For now there seem to be no plans to change the way he operates.
Sean Hannity says "the media has been absolutely apoplectic and hyperventilating" over revelation he is Michael Cohen’s 3rd client.
Imagine for a moment…the weeks long rant he’d go on if Anderson Cooper or Rachel Maddow were linked to Hillary’s lawyer 🤯

Do you think Sean Hannity should have disclosed he has a relationship to the person at the center of a story he is breaking to his viewers?
That's not a rhetorical question because Hannity obviously thought it was okay to hide this information from Fox News & their viewers. https://t.co/uk8FHqtBQ2
