It’s been more than two weeks since the last White House briefing and Sarah Sanders acted like it was just another routine day in Trumpworld. But then things got testy.
It began when NBC’s Hallie Jackson pressed Sanders on the head spinning and ever-changing answers to Russia’s attack on our election system. When Sanders tried to move on past her question, another reporter, Jordan Fabian from The Hill, yielded his question to Jackson. The whole exchange is worth watching.
Just extending some professional courtesy. All of us in that room are trying to do our jobs and it's important the press corps be united around that mission. https://t.co/6LAwkbIz2m

April Ryan also tried to challenge Sanders. The kind of journalism we saw today is what we need to see more of. Reporters can’t let this White House go unchecked.
"Oh, you're not going to answer that?"
Press Sec. Sanders declines to answer April Ryan's question on "voter suppression," saying she hadn't been called on. https://t.co/CFdzczE0fE pic.twitter.com/W8J4W9GbZG
