This isn’t suspicious or anything. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, the two men arrested for campaign-finance violations, met with Rudy Giuliani just hours before they were arrested.
The two had lunch with Mr. Giuliani at the Trump International Hotel in Washington on Wednesday, according to a person who was in the hotel and saw the three together.
Just hours after that lunch yesterday, the two men made their way to Dulles International airport with one-way tickets out of the country. That’s where they were arrested. Wonder when those tickets were purchased?
Law enforcement is almost certainly investigating what Giuliani knew about the scheme and whether he aided Parnas and Fruman.

If Giuliani testifies before Congress, he should be asked what happened during this meeting. Did he tip them off? Did they get their stories straight? https://t.co/r7JSdsqqvN
Giuliani has been rather quiet today, but Vanity Fair’s Gabe Sherman says he reached his via text today.
when I asked Rudy about prospect of the FBI flipping Parnas and Fruman to get to him, he replied “Good luck.”
