Donald Trump has another primary challenger. Former Rep. Joe Walsh, a Republican from Illinois, announced he is going to run for president. Walsh has been one of the most vocal Conservatives when it comes to criticizing the president. Here’s what he told ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopolous
“No surprise, we got a guy in the White House who’s unfit, completely unfit. to be president. And it stuns me that nobody’s stepped up, nobody in the Republican party stepped up, because I’ll tell you what, George, everybody believes in the Republican party, everybody believes that he’s unfit — he lies every time he opens his mouth.”
He went on to say:
“Most of my former colleagues believe — they think Trump is going to lose in November. They want him to lose in November. And then they think they’re done with him and everything can go back to normal… they want Trump gone. They’re just afraid to say that he’s unfit.”
Friends, I'm in. We can't take four more years of Donald Trump. And that's why I'm running for President.
It won't be easy, but bravery is never easy. But together, we can do it. Join me… join us: go to https://t.co/d40HA9h2Kz.
Let's show the world we're ready to be brave.

ABC writes:
While Walsh has argued he plans to make a moral case against the president, Stephanopoulos asked the former congressman if he’s the best person to make that argument given his long history of incendiary and controversial statements ranging from using racist slurs on Twitter to promoting falsehoods around former President Barack Obama’s birth certificate and religion.
Watch how he responded to Stephanopoulos’ questions on this and more above.
Thanks Neera. You and I agree on this: Donald Trump is a narcissistic con man who is unfit to be President. https://t.co/nXkUOX2rJ5
