Rep. Joaquin Castro Questions Why Hispanics Are Contributing To Donald Trump’s Campaign

Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-TX) is questioning why some prominent people from his district (San Antonio) are contributing to Donald Trump’s campaign. With the city being about “65% Hispanic” and many of the donors Hispanic themselves, Castro asks why they would support a president that has “targeted Hispanic Americans and immigrants — calling them ‘invaders.’”

Today he is also clearing the air, to talk about why he released a list of 44 Trump donors.

Castro, who is the brother of presidential candidate Julian Castro, has been criticized by Republicans for sharing the names, but as he pointed out on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, the information he shared was publicly available.
