Despite Georgia Republicans reducing the number of polling locations, early voting in the two runoff senate races set records. In what is the most consequential runoff election in recent memory, Democrats Jon Ossoff and Rev. Raphael Warnock are trying to unseat Republican Senate incumbents David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler in Georgia. The outcome will determine the balance of the Senate.

While most people reported an easy and quick voting experience on day one, waits of up to two hours have been reported in some locations. The waits are the result of a reduced number of locations to vote.
