Calls for Virginia Governor Ralph Northam to resign are growing. The racist photo of the governor from his medical school yearbook, is a photo he now acknowledges. The governor issued written and video apologies last night but it appears the damage is done.
Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam's page in a 1984 yearbook has pictures of him and others in blackface and wearing Ku Klux Klan apparel…

Northam is expected to address the controversy in a Saturday morning news conference.
My fellow Virginians, earlier today I released a statement apologizing for behavior in my past that falls far short of the standard you set for me when you elected me to be your governor. I believe you deserve to hear directly from me. pic.twitter.com/1rSw1oxfrX

The apology is doing little to quiet the outcry. Many of the Democrats running for president are adding their voices to those saying Northam needs to step aside.
