President Joe Biden followed through on an annual tradition of doing an interview with the network hosting the Super Bowl. It’s his first network interview since taking office. Biden talked to CBS’s Norah O’Donnell about when he expects things are going to get back to “normal.” He also touched on his administration’s plans to get schools back open:
“It is a national emergency… I think it’s time for schools to reopen safely… I think about the price so many of my grandkids and your kids are going to pay for not having had the chance to finish whatever it was… the graduation where you didn’t get to walk across the stage. I think they are going through a lot, these kids.”
