From north of Fresno to San Diego, wildfires are scorching California, stranding campers and hikers in the north and forcing the evacuation of thousands from the southern part of the state.  The fires come at the same time as record breaking heat hits the state.  More than two million acres has burned this year, a record.  The BBC has an excellent update from fires across the state.  Click above.
