Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is doing some damage control. But it’s most likely too late as the Democratic controlled House prepares to strip her of her committee assignments. In a 10-minute speech from the floor of the House, the Georgia Republican tried to make it about the media saying, “You only know me by how Media Matters, CNN, MSNBC, and the rest of the mainstream media is portraying me…” Instead of apologizing for the conspiracy theories she’s peddled, Greene simply said that she knows school shootings are real and that 9/11 was real (she has raised questions about both in the past).
