The day after the Senate passed the trillion dollar infrastructure bill, we were reminded by one progressive group of all the failed attempts in the previous administration to improve America’s roads, bridges, and internet.
The Meidas Touch put out a video showing some of the “greatest hits” from the Trump White House where they talked up “Infrastructure Week.” From Sean Spicer to Sarah Sanders, former VP Mike Pence and especially Trump, it’s an entertaining reminder of all the times Trump and his allies promised Infrastructure was coming … only to never come close to delivering. Watch the full video above.
BOOM!! The Senate OKs Democrats’ $3.5 trillion infrastructure reconciliation bill, setting the stage for tuition-free pre-k, a Civilian Climate Corps, expanded Medicare benefits and more. #BidenDelivers

Progressive groups aren’t the only ones having fun at Trump’s expense over his inability to ever make progress on his much-promised “world-class infrastructure” legislation. Republican Rob Portman, the senator from Ohio who was a principal member of the negotiating team that ultimately delivered Biden’s bill, took a sly jab at Trump on Tuesday. Portman said, “There’s a joke around town that Infrastructure Week has come and gone so many times, that people are a little cynical when we talk about it.” The clip where Portman mentions it is 42 seconds into the video, which you can watch here.
