Joe Biden’s ad team pounced on the moment that world leaders appeared to be mocking Donald Trump at the NATO summit in London. Just hours after video captured Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and others mocking the president, Biden released an ad saying:
“The world is laughing at President Trump. They see him for what he really is: dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership. We cannot give him four more years as commander in chief.”
The ad, which has already been viewed millions of times, ends by saying, “We need a leader the world respects.”
The one minute video is getting high praise.
This is such an effective ad because it highlights Donald Trump’s greatest weakness and Joe Biden’s greatest strength. https://t.co/uapDiBgcs2

Great friggin' ad, @JoeBiden. I'm sure it's already been burned into @realDonaldTrump's mental hard-drive and he's replaying it 'billions and billions' of times… #Trump #Biden https://t.co/ZjilSCIpFn

Conservative columnist Matt Lewis wrote: “The key here isn’t just that this is a good ad. But the fact that Biden came out with this ad makes you believe he could actually wage a good campaign against Trump. That’s the key.”
A lot of Republicans are saying this ad doesn’t play well with Trump’s base, because they don’t care what foreign leaders think of the President, but remember that Biden is running in the Democratic primary where our voters care a heckuva lot about our standing in the world. https://t.co/FsLsm8n3MZ
