National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan made the rounds on the morning news programs on Monday painting a grim picture of what Russia plans to do if it invades Ukraine.  Sullivan said on NBC’s Today program that the U.S. wants diplomacy to settle this peacefully but says the Biden administration is also “prepared to respond decisively if Russia moves on Ukraine,” adding: “if Russia chooses to move against any NATO country… they will be met with the full force of American and allied might.”

Sullivan added on Ukraine that “this will not be a conventional war between two armies.  It will be a war waged by Russia on the Ukrainian people.”
