Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi met with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for a 30-minute private meeting today. The high profile Congresswomen reportedly covered a lot of issues. Afterward, Pelosi said remarked, “In a family, you have your differences but you’re still a family.” The AP writes:
Pelosi told reporters that “I don’t think we have that many differences” despite some sharp words back and forth recently with “AOC.”
When asked if she buried the hatchet with AOC, Pelosi said “I don’t think there was a hatchet.” Watch what else she said from Bloomberg above.
No reaction yet from Ocasio-Cortez.
