This is unusual. Someone in the Trump administration has actually admitted they were wrong. Mike Pence is now saying he should have worn a mask during a trip to the Mayo Clinic last week. During the visit, the Vice President chose to ignore the clinic’s mandatory rule to wear a face mask to guard against spreading the coronavirus. Pence was asked about this during a Fox News Town Hall Sunday Night.
Asked about not wearing a mask at the Mayo Clinic, Pence starts making excuses for himself (“you wear a mask to prevent you from conveying the coronavirus to other people,” which is a bad excuse b/c he can’t be sure he didn’t have it), but then says, “I should have worn a mask.” pic.twitter.com/Gl6pTwUJxU
