Lindsey Graham sure seems desperate. The South Carolina Senator has made several appearances on Fox News this week pleading for money. This came after his Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison brought in more than $9 million in the three days following Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death. On Fox & Friends, the Republican admitted, “I’m being killed financially. This money is because they hate my guts.”
This is at least the third time Graham has gone on Fox this week to plead for money for his race. He went on Hannity on Monday, Fox and Friends this morning and Hannity again tonight https://t.co/IZ9CbHXDnk

In a piece entitled, “Lindsey Graham Is Pleading for Cash Like a Televangelist Peddling Miracle Spring Water,” Esquire’s Charles Pierce wrote, “This is getting embarrassing.”
“Lindsey Graham has been in Congress since 1995. He has been in the United States Senate since 2003. He is the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He is a Republican in South by-God Carolina, And now, facing actual opposition for the first time since forever, he’s taken to doing the poor mouth.”
Here’s what Graham’s opponent said about this.
Anybody else get the sense that @LindseyGrahamSC just realized he's going to lose on November 3rd? pic.twitter.com/tdLlkdkhI2

The last few polls have shown Harrison and Graham running neck and neck. Huff Post writes:
Polls show that Graham finds himself in a surprising fight for his political life in a solidly red state that President Donald Trump won by 14 percentage points in 2016. Political handicappers still favor Graham to win ― 1998 was the last time a Democrat won a Senate seat in South Carolina. But a Harrison victory would deal a major blow to the GOP hopes of maintaining its Senate majority.
