The View nabbed Joe Biden for his first interview since officially announcing he is running for president. In addition to asking why he’s running (watch above), he was also challenged on many of the more controversial issues that will follow him on the campaign trail, such as if Biden’s past behavior ever crossed the line with women.
.@JoeBiden addresses inappropriate touching allegations, saying it’s his “responsibility … to be more aware”: “I’m sorry this happened, but I’m not sorry in the sense that I think I did anything that was intentionally designed to do anything wrong or be inappropriate.” pic.twitter.com/tjVBYya408

Biden’s treatment of Anita Hill is back in the spotlight too. Thursday came word that he telephoned Hill recently and expressed “regret” over how she was treated during Clarence Thomas’s confirmation hearings. Biden was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee when Hill testified about sexual harassment allegations against Thomas. The New York Times says, “Hill says the call from Mr. Biden left her feeling deeply unsatisfied.” Biden’s answer on The View about this won’t do much to help put this issue to bed either.
"Since I had publicly apologized for the way she was treated…I didn't want to, quote, invade her space," Joe Biden says on why he only recently called Anita Hill. "I was grateful she took my call." https://t.co/rxCXj3uvWG pic.twitter.com/hmg3YBVOa0

As for Biden’s age. Today Trump threw a jab Biden’s way about being younger, but Biden brushed it aside saying, “If he looks young and vibrant compared to me, I should probably go home… The best way to judge me is to watch, see if I have the energy and the capacity — it’s a ‘show me’ business.” He also said if he wins he doesn’t intend on being a one-term president.
Joe Biden tells the co-hosts he won't commit to serving just one term.
"It's a legitimate question to ask about my age…Hopefully, I can demonstrate not only with age has come wisdom and experience that can make things a lot better." https://t.co/rxCXj3uvWG pic.twitter.com/jxJKrtbx0e

There was also a touching moment as Biden talked about his late son, Beau.
"I hope he's proud of me."@JoeBiden discusses his late son Beau: "He didn't want me to withdraw from the things that have motivated my whole life about trying to … make things better." https://t.co/rxCXj3uvWG pic.twitter.com/HVA04j3AiW
