Joe Biden is pushing a message of positivity and unity. He has been doing this for a while, but it was emphasized during a new ad that his campaign ran during the first game of the World Series Tuesday night. The ad narrated by actor Sam Elliott talks about a common love for America:
“No Democratic rivers, no Republican mountains, just this great land and all that’s possible on it with a fresh start. Cures we can find, futures we can shape, work to reward, dignity to protect. There is so much we can do, if we choose to take on problems and not each other.”
Scott Huffman, a Democrat running for Congress in North Carolina’s 13th district wrote, “The new Joe Biden ad with Sam Elliot was beautiful and inspiring. I’m so happy that it lines up with one of my ads with a message of unity. We need to start caring for each other again and come together.”
It’s time we see each other as fellow Americans who live in — and love — the United States of America. pic.twitter.com/xawem14X61

Sweet, and with Sam Elliott as narrator, I guess you can say of @JoeBiden: the Dude abides. It’s an artful, emotional paean to everything #Trump is NOT. Is not being #Trump enough to win the race? That’s the whole theory of the Biden strategy. It may just work. https://t.co/tyT38N5al3

It’s true, this message couldn’t be more of a contrast to Donald Trump, who while this ad was airing, was in Pennsylvania Tuesday listing off all his personal complaints. The speech wasn’t aimed at the people of Erie, instead, it was just about the man in the mirror.
Trump's speech in Erie, PA, began with him telling his audience he didn't really want to be there ("I wasn't coming to Erie"), continued with him repeatedly complaining about being cold (it's 50 degrees there), and ended with him announcing he was cutting it short. Weird. pic.twitter.com/KZ6moki8SS
