Joe Biden eviscerated Donald Trump for his handling of the coronavirus crisis. In a speech on Tuesday, the former vice president pointed out that he would be reacting to the crisis very differently, and that the current president has given up, “It seems like our wartime president surrendered, waved the white flag, and left the battlefield.”

As for what he would do to fight the pandemic, Biden said his plans would include uniform, nationwide standards.

He also weighed in on the report that Donald Trump wasn’t briefed on a plan by Russia to pay Taliban forces to kill American soldiers in Afghanistan.
