Amy McGrath, the former Marine fighter pilot, and the first woman to fly FA-18’s in combat, easily won her race in the Democratic primary in Kentucky. McGrath entered the race with a blow-away two-minute tv ad introducing herself (click above). At one point she was more than 40 points behind in the Democratic primary for Kentucky’s 6th district, but tonight she pulled away early to take the nomination.
