FBI Director Christopher Wray and other top national security experts are addressing “the integrity and security of our 2020 election.” In a video Wray said:
We’re not going to tolerate foreign interference in our elections or criminal activity that threatens the sanctity of your vote or undermines public confidence in the outcome of the election.
At the FBI, we’re working closely with our federal, state, and local partners to share information, bolster security, and identify and disrupt any threats.
He was joined by General Paul Nakasone, Director of the National Security Agency; Chris Krebs, Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency; and Bill Evanina, Director of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center. They all addressed how the various agencies are “safeguarding your vote.”
Since Donald Trump has been trying to sow seeds of doubt that votes won’t be safe, there is speculation that he isn’t happy with Wray’s message.
FBI Director Christopher Wray put this video out to try to quell fears about the security of the election by foreign and domestic influences.
It's pretty explicit. I'm not sure how he's going to keep his job after this.#WednesdayWisdom #wednesdaymorningpic.twitter.com/uLPDvxDbIC

Anyone want to take bets on whether @realDonaldTrump fires Chris Wray for this? pic.twitter.com/IdfFCN3NVj
