Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg is not letting Laura Ingraham off the hook easy.
Soon after advertisers started cutting ties with her show, the Fox News commentator apologized yesterday afternoon–“in the spirit of Holy Week”–for mocking the Parkland mass shooting survivor about his college rejections. But Hogg does not accept the apology, he told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota.
“She’s only apologizing after a third of her advertisers pulled out,” he said. “And I think it’s really disgusting the fact that she basically tried promoting her show after apologizing to me.”
Ingraham’s two-tweet apology included a pat on the back for herself for being the “first to feature David” during which she noted how “poised” he was after the massacre at his school.
It seems like Hogg isn’t the only one who found Ingraham’s apology unsatisfactory. Companies such as Jos. A. Bank and Hulu pulled their advertising money from Ingraham’s show even after Ingraham tried to make amends. The fallout continues.
