Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) is one of the most well-known men running for president. But he finds himself overshadowed by several women who’ve also announced. Booker said last night that regardless of who ends up the Democratic nominee in 2020, the ticket should include a woman:
“I believe there should be a woman president right now and I worked very hard to get one. We have such a great field of leaders, I think you’ll rarely see a democratic ticket anymore without gender diversity, race diversity. I think it’s something we should have. I’m not going to box myself in, but should I become it, you know I’ll be looking to women first.”
