On CNN’s New Day this morning, Rick Santorum claimed he misspoke when he said that kids “do something about maybe taking CPR classes” to respond to violent situations.

Santorum refused to acknowledge that the country needs sensible gun control legislation.

“You’re missing the point, Rick,” New Day host Chris Cuomo told him.
