Beverly Hills Residents Arrested In Connection With Capitol Hill Siege

Gina Bisignano owns a skin care and eyelash store in Beverly Hills.  She’s also been arrested for her part in the Capitol riot.  The Hollywood Reporter says the FBI took 52-year-old  into custody and charged her “with civil disorder; destruction of government property; aiding and abetting; obstruction of an official proceeding; restricted building or grounds; and violent entry or disorderly conduct, according to court documents.”

A woman believed to be Bisignano, who owns Gina’s Eyelashes and Skincare on North Camden Drive, was taped yelling to those breaking into the Capitol, “Everybody, we need gas masks, we need weapons. We need strong, angry patriots to help our boys, they don’t want to leave. We need protection.”

Bisignano was also reportedly caught on video in December using a homophobic slur while protesting Los Angeles’ mask mandate. Some Twitter users dubbed her “lockdown Karen” as a result.

The Daily Beast says Beverly Hills doctor, Simone Gold, 55, was also arrested this week:

Gold garnered national attention in July when she organized a press conference on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court to condemn pandemic lockdowns and rave about how “hydroxychloroquine works” as a treatment for COVID-19.

The doctor made a similar speech during the Jan. 6 insurrection, confirming to The Washington Post she was photographed holding a megaphone on the Rotunda floor.

Gold was caught on video with her alleged associate John Strand, who was also arrested.
