The situation is San Antonio, Texas saddens us. The photos are jaw-dropping. Up to 10,000 people lined up for free groceries from a local food bank this week.
A staff photographer from the San Antonio Express-News, using a drone, captured the sea of cars in a Texas parking lot. The Express-News writes;
In perhaps the most sobering reminder yet of the economic fallout caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the San Antonio Food Bank aided about 10,000 households Thursday in a record-setting giveaway at a South Side flea market.
