President Trump, just back from Paris where he canceled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery in France has now canceled a Veterans Day trip to Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. It was raining in France and rain is in the forecast in Washington but it’s not supposed to begin until tonight. Sunday was officially Veteran’s Day but the government holiday is today.
Just after 10 a.m. this morning, the White House put on a “travel lid” meaning Trump isn’t leaving the White House.
It has become an unofficial president event for the commander in chief to visit Arlington and lay a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier on Veterans Day.
Trump won't be leaving the White House today, per press office. No visit to Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day.

Since I realize not everyone has visited D.C. or knows the area's layout: Arlington Cemetery is about 2 miles from the White House. A person could walk there in under an hour. A person with a motorcade could get there in under 10 minutes. And rain isn't forecast until the evening https://t.co/ScoBiyDpXc
