The Witnesses Being Called In Public Hearings

With the public impeachment hearings finally getting underway, here are the first witnesses. Today Bill Taylor, the top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine will appear alongside George Kent, the deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian Affairs.

 U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch is set to appear Friday.

And this morning Adam Schiff, chair of the House Intelligence Committee, revealed next week’s list. 

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi remarked:

Patriotism means putting country ahead of politics and personal ambition, and speaking out when you see something wrong. The witnesses coming forward to testify today have shown that patriotism again and again.
