With 100 days until election day, we’ll be sharing headlines and the significant news relating to what is sure to be a historic day for America.
Today, new CNN polls put more emphasis on three states already of utmost importance in the race for the White House. The network writes that “voters in three critical battleground states swing in former Vice President Joe Biden’s way.”
CNN goes on to say:
Trump carried all three states in 2016, with his narrowest win in any state coming from Michigan, which he carried by only 10,704 votes. The poll results are among registered voters, but when looking only at those who say they are most likely to vote in this fall’s election, support for the two candidates remains about the same.
Meanwhile, as we hit this milestone leading up to November 3rd, speculation is growing as to who Joe Biden will pick as his running mate. The decision could be announced as early as this week.
Today, The Hill says it still looks like Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) is the “favorite,” but says she doesn’t have the race “locked up.” The publication says another California politician is also gaining more stem:
Another source close to the campaign said Team Biden is giving Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.) a serious look in the final days of deliberation. Bass leads the Congressional Black Caucus.
As the political pundits (and polls) continue to have us all guessing, the bigger question is about what actions we will all be taking over these next 100 days.
