Stormy Daniels spoke with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes tonight.
WHY IT MATTERS: While much of this interview may seem like something for the tabloids, there is one particularly serious issue, which is whether the payment from Trump’s lawyer to Stormy Daniels violated campaign finance laws.
What makes the dispute between Stormy Daniels and President Trump more than a tabloid scandal is that her silence was purchased 11 days before the election, which may run afoul of campaign finance laws, #60Minutes reports

During Anderson Cooper’s interview with the adult-film star Stormy Daniels, Daniels said she was threatened:
“…a guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.’ And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone.”
