Allie Garcia-Serra, M.D. Radiation Oncologist at Miami Cancer Institute tells News & Guts:
“Surgery alone has a high cure rate for small tumors that can be completely resected. The prognosis is excellent. However, she remains at high risk for the development of additional pulmonary nodules. Long-term surveillance is of utmost importance.”
Dan Rather says:
”I’ve met many tough women in my life (I’m from Texas), but few rival Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I wish her all the best for a healthy and happy year ahead.”
