While appearing on Steve Bannon’s podcast today, Rudy Giuliani threw out a conspiracy theory so crazy even Bannon himself pushed back. Huff Post explains that Rudy “suggested that the insurrection was organized, in part, by a person who he claimed was connected with the Lincoln Project, a conservative group opposed to Trump.”
But when Giuliani went on a tangent and said “we have that from anonymous sources,” Bannon snapped:
“This is why we’re getting blown up all the time. You can’t throw a charge out there like that and then say, I got a double-secret-probation guy who I can’t mention.”
Now, in response to all this, members of The Lincoln Project are suggesting they may take legal action against Donald Trump’s personal attorney. Here are some responses from those involved in the organization.
