Rudy Giuliani has tested positive for coronavirus. That’s according to Donald Trump who made the announcement in a xenophobic-laced tweet.

Shortly after that tweet, news came that Giuliani was in the hospital.

As a 76-year-old, Giuliani would be considered high risk.

Trump’s attorney has appeared in public several times this past week unmasked. ABC News reports:

On Wednesday, he attended a hearing in the Michigan House of Representatives where he was seen without a mask and argued the election was riddled with fraud.

The next day he appeared at a hearing at the Georgia Senate Judiciary Committee to contest that state’s results.

Giuliani’s son tested positive two weeks ago for coronavirus as well.
