Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham has been cooperating fully with the House Select Committee investigating the insurrection. She was also Melania Trump’s chief of staff and resigned on January 6th of last year as rioters ransacked the Capitol. But what she saw before leaving the White House is aiding the committee. This morning on CNN, she spoke of Trump’s demeanor on the afternoon of Jan. 6th.
Grisham also told CNN that a group of about a dozen former Trump staffers is meeting next week to discuss ways to ‘stop’ him from running again.
“Next week, a group of former Trump staff are going to come together, administration officials are going to come together and we’re going to talk about how we can formally do some things to try and stop him and also, the extremism, that that kind of violence, rhetoric that has been talked about and continues to divide our country,” Grisham told CNN’s John Berman and Brianna Keilar in an interview on “New Day.”
