Mick Mulvaney On Trump: “He’s In The Hotel Business”

The White House is trying to do damage control after Donald Trump announced the G7 summit will no longer be held at his Miami Doral resort. But Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney didn’t do the president any favors on Fox News Sunday. When Chris Wallace asked Mulvaney why “he caved” on hosting the G7, Trump’s right-hand man replied, “at the end of the day he still considers himself in the hospitality business and he saw an opportunity…that’s his background…he wanted to put on a show. He wanted to take out folks.” When Wallace reminded Mulvaney “he’s the president of the United States,” Mulvaney replied, “He’s in the hotel business.” Here’s the full exchange.
