Yahoo: LeBron James on President Trump turning off NBA games over protests: ‘I really don’t think the basketball community is sad’
Nearly every player in the NBA has joined in a racial injustice protest during the national anthem. The president responded by declaring he would stop watching games.
LeBron James said, “I really don’t think the basketball community is sad about losing his viewership… I hope everyone, no matter the race, no matter the color, no matter the size, will see what leadership we have at the top in our country and understand that November is right around the corner. It’s a big moment for us as Americans.”
