WAPO: Trump suggests protesting should be illegal
“I think it’s embarrassing for the country to allow protesters,” the president said in an interview with the Daily Caller following demonstrations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
While people in some countries live with the fear that if they protest they may be jailed, in America we’ve always been able to peacefully protest. Donald Trump is not a fan though, especially when the protests are geared toward him or the people he appoints.
