WAPO: Trump administration weighs new family separation effort at border
Determined to stem crossings, officials are considering asking parents to choose between detention or separation.
Since Donald Trump hasn’t been able to build his border wall it looks like he is frustrated and trying to figure out new ways to deter families from entering the country. The Washington Post reports:
”…officials say senior White House adviser Stephen Miller is advocating for tough measures because he believes the springtime separations worked as an effective deterrent to illegal crossings.”
