WAPO: At President Trump’s hotel in New York, revenue went up this spring — thanks to a visit from big-spending Saudis
The March visit, by travelers accompanying the Saudi crown prince, highlights how little is known about Trump’s business dealings with foreign governments.
Many of Donald Trump’s hotels have been struggling, but one of his New York locations got a big boost earlier this year thanks to “a last-minute visit to New York by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.” What’s odd is the Crown Prince paid for several rooms, but never actually stayed there himself.
