USA Today: Ex-Brooklyn Center police officer Kim Potter appears in court as Daunte Wright’s family demands accountability
Kim Potter was charged with second-degree manslaughter in the death of Daunte Wright. She made her first court appearance Thursday.
The hearing took place on Zoom, but a recording was not allowed.
"Unfortunately, there is never going to be justice for us … Justice isn't even a word to me. I do want 100% accountability … but even then, if that even happens, we are still going to bury our son," Daunte Wright’s mother Katie Wright says. pic.twitter.com/nkdwRcasmr
