The Hill: Romney First GOP Senator To Say He Would Vote For Jan. 6 Commission Bill
Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said on Monday that he would support a House-passed bill to create a commission to probe the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.
Utah Senator Mitt Romney is once again breaking ranks with fellow Republicans, this time concerning a push to get to the bottom of the events that led to the Capitol Insurrection.
Mitt Romney, who had expressed some reservations of the Jan. 6 commission bill, just told me he would be a YES if the bill came forward for a vote.
“I would support the bill.”
