President Biden is facing intense backlash from progressive lawmakers after saying Tuesday he would not sign a measure to forgive up to $50,000 in federally held student debt per borrower through executive action.
The president is receiving pushback today from some top Democrats after saying he is prepared to write off $10,000 in student debt, but not $50,000.
