Tampa Bay Times: Don’t ‘monkey this up’ and elect Andrew Gillum, Ron DeSantis says
Republican candidate for governor Ron DeSantis said Wednesday morning that Florida shouldn’t “monkey this up” by electing Democrat Andrew Gillum in November.
Republican nominee Ron DeSantis is quickly learning that words matter. The candidate made a Trump-like comment on Fox News with a racial dog whistle. Fox has since issued a statement saying that don’t “condone this language.”
